Reloads scripts while running

Hello,

Is there some way (command / dbus call / whatever) to ask nautilus to
look for scripts, so that it isn't necessary to restart Nautilus in
order to be able to use them?

Such a feature is needed for
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus-image-converter/+bug/269213.
Please CC me if you answer, as I'm not subscribed to this list.
