Nautilus: Edit / Preferences / Media / [ ] Browse media when inserted
should do it. However, this applies to all user mounted media including
USB memory sticks, etc. You didn't tell your Nautilus version or your
Distro, but the reference to "Hardy" in your follow-up post seems to
suggest a fairly recent Nautilus. ;) With older versions (in cases
where the Media tab doesn't exist), have a look here:
System / Preferences / Removable Drives and Media
