Hey Amos, thanks for the patches.
Did you use Glade3 to modify the preferences window? There's a bug in
it, and it produces a lot of unwanted output...I think it would be
easier to review your patch if you attached another one edited using
Glade2.
Also, why do you think we need a preference key to control this
behavior?
