You can use "cp ~/Templates/Foo ." :)

Well, it makes the directory "magic", in the sense that you can only get
to it in a specific way in the ui. This makes the user model much more
complicated.

Then only gconf-using apps (gnome apps) will be able to find the
directory to e.g. save a template.
