I think metatheme itself with all it's editing functionality is way too
bloated for a standard theming capplet. A better solution would be imho
to write a set of bonobo controls, with a consistent look and feel, for
each thing that needs theming. These could then be used in both
metatheme and some standard, simpler, capplet.
