See, you have just shown me why it shouldn't be the default setup.
No. This was because I had been using a shell for 4 years. It took two
days to clean it up, and I currently have a very clean desktop (and a
very well organized homedir looking from the shell as well by the way,
it comes free with it)
But sure, it takes some cleanup first unless you start from a fresh
install and new account.
