If the board wants staggered terms, I see a need for new bylaws. It's
surprisingly easy to achieve, though, cf.
Just to keep you in the loop, there wasn't sufficient time to run through
these issues at the last board meeting, so I didn't bring them up.
Also, I'm checking with legal as to the need for by-law changes.
Interestingly, the by-laws are silent on it, and so is California
Corporation Code, except for publicly listed corporations, so thanks very
much for bringing that up! It may well be that we need an amendment to go
to the membership as a whole.
