Dear Bharath and Akhil,

the GNOME Membership Committee is about to process Jain Punit's
application to become a GNOME Foundation Member and therefore we would

(past and present contributions are usually fine)

Hello Membership Committee,

Punit Jain has been an active contributor to the Evolution project. He
recently implemented the "Public folder support for Esources" feature
for Evolution MAPI which made a lot of news.

He has been actively tracking the bug reports and is a good contributor
for GNOME 3.0

He is now working on merging the Express branch features back into
Evolution. This is a very desired feature by the community and would
help position Evolution as the best mail client.

I strongly recommend Punit Jain to be accepted as a GNOME Foundation
member and I am sure he'll justify this role with significant
contributions to the GNOME 3.0 release

Let me know if you need any other specific details about his
contributions.

Regards,
Bharath

Please remember that vouching for a contributor means you really think
he deserves to be a Foundation Member and that you trust him and his
work for the global GNOME community. If unsure about vouching or not,
please let us know why you don't feel enough comfortable in advocating
this applicant.

For further details about the applicant, feel free to have a look at his
application at the following link:

At your service,

The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee
