I have been approached by a student (Sven Pfaller) who would like to work on Soylent as a Google Summer of
Code project for Gnome (as suggested by Luis Villa on http://live.gnome.org/SummerOfCode2008/Ideas). I would
really like to be a mentor for Sven in the GSoC, and the Gnome mentor requirements include Foundation
membership. This would be a fantastic opportunity for Soylent, Gnome, Sven, and myself, and my Gnome
Foundation membership could make this possible.
Thank you for your consideration!
