Here are the notes I took. It might need some editing if you want to
send them elsewhere (foundation-list, eg). Also, we need to replace the
"someone" with a real name in the ACTIONs.

* OPEN Tickets on the RT
 + Some applications don't have contacts. How to handle them, especially
   when the applicant doesn't reply to the mail asking for contacts?
 + Sankarshan proposes to require email addresses in the application

        and make it clearer that providing email addresses as contacts
        is really useful

* Membership Committee Process Automation
 + Automatic mail when people need to renew: this can be done with a
   small script.

 + Automatic renewal: people just send a mail to an address, and they're
   renewed.

 + Proposed solution: have a cron job that sends a mail to people
   needing to review with a magic string, and members can renew by
   replying. The script receives the reply and verifies the magic
   string. It notifies the member and the membership committee about
   success/failure.

 + First part (automatic mails) is required. The automatic renewal is a
   blue-sky feature.

 + Automatic subscription to foundation-announce mailing list (current
   process is manual)

   mails
 + Sankarshan and Lucas are not the admin of the membership-committee
   list
