Summary:
I translate opensource and free softwares to Amharic. At the moment mostely i am working on ubuntu 
distribution especially gnome environment at https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/dapper/+lang/am.

Detailed description:
My contribution is entirely on translation. some of the applications that i participate are abiword, poedit, 
mozilla.
At the moment I am concentrating my effort on completing the translation of ubuntu fro the Ethiopians 
millennium which is in about in one year. For that purpose I proposed the "Ethiopian Millennium Gift project" 
with hope that it would fuel the localization effort. The proposal is at http://wiki.laptop.org/index.php/EMGP
