Hey guys,
As the current howto for the elections is not updated, here's a quick
TODO list for the elections:
* post a news on gnomedesktop.org asking for questions to ask to the
candidates.

I can do these two, but not until about 12 hours from now (at the
soonest). However, Jonathan Blandford said that we'd had a request to
keep open the nominations deadline. I cannot find reference to this.
Did it go only to you, Vincent?
Yes, it seems. I told Jonathan to send a mail to the mailing list, but
the subject was too sensitive for a mailing list with public archives.
I don't think we can extend the deadline without an announce from the
board, though. I'll ping some board people.
Hrm, this is difficult. I hate closed mailing lists, but even more do I
hate having folks refuse to keep the committee informed of things that
directly affect the work we need to do.

Oh, btw, Greg, I thought you weren't in the committee any more???
Just trying to give you an opportunity to retire! Plus, I think it's
nice to have somebody who has been around GNOME for a long time on here,
if only to give perspective on how the Foundation was originally set up.
Greg
