Hi all,
Since we have rejected bilbo centaur homeunix net as a late candidancy, we have to rejct Miguel on the same rules or guideline. His case is different from Jim Gettys's membership not renewed due to technicality.

I think we should be made clear this is the membership committee position and make it fully aware to the existing Board members. If the board members are in anyway fair, I don't believe they will overturn the decision here, otherwise, they would be perceived as a double standard. Since Miguel is well know within the community and well respected by the board, I am sure the board can involve him in some other ingenuie ways :)

I totally agree: we should reject Miguel's candidacy.
I'll try to see if I can talk with some people of the board on IRC to
get their advice. But as Miguel is on the board, he knew the timeline of
the elections for more than one month. So I feel he really had the time
to prepare his candidacy.
