Re: Meld option to not open direcotories that don't exist ?

Hello;

I guess its the long-standing bug.
Is that fix able to be back ported to the 1.8x series. I don't have GTK+ 3.xx as other apps aren't setup for it.

Hello;

I am using meld, the great diff tool, to diff directories. I'm looking for changed files in a directory where there
are many directories that are in one place but not the other.

Is there an option to not open directories that don't exist in both places ? I did this by hand and it made the view much simpler,
but it would be nice to automatically have this done.

I'm not certain what you're looking for from this description, but I think either you just want to use the "New" filter in the toolbar, or you're talking about the long-standing bug where we don't prune folders that are otherwise-empty after filtering from the tree. If it's the later, then that was fixed in 3.11.0.

cheers,
Kai
