I can understand that, but I like to be able to customize the behavior
of my apps. And despite that, I like my apps to have a sane default
one...

I despise popups, that's why I wanted to continue development after
the  GUI chooser patch.

I'd say usually yes, but I don't want to impose that kind of default
behavior because it will be wrong for someone...

Especially because my testing is done on git+hg (double-dvcs) since
they are far easier to setup (no need for a server process...) than cvcs.

I'll have a look at implementing your suggestion. I'm currently looking
at gtksourceview2, which does not look very hard to support.

But in the mean time, what do we do with the actual patch ?
