I'm with Stephen on that one, I'm not against using newer APIs if
available but ditching support for old versions could cost us users...

On the other hand not supporting Drag'N'Drop or old sourceview for
people not having gnomevfs look like acceptable compromises, no ?

Or do we want to support both and have an abstraction layer, like
the sourceview one ? Perhaps not for the gnomevfs case...
