L.W. has update/installed many <systems>; also x86-64.

Can he advise me:

is AMD64 & intel64 compatible?
On a laptop which previously booted the Debian7 DVD, apparently
under W8.1 -32bit; then the vendor changed it to x64 [Intel] for
3G-dongle compatibility reasons; can I boot with a USBstik:
pointing to the zlinux & initrd on the DVD?
The x64-win 8.1 can read the DVD files.
