Hello Chris, english is not my mother language, and it seems to be the
same for you ;) I’m unsure of the global meaning of your mail, but I’ll
try anyway to answer to it.

Yes, intel64 (i3 etc) is compatible with AMD64 (a64 etc), more globally
called x86_64.

I’m a bit lost about your boot story. What do you want to achieve ? And
what’s the point with mc ?
