When I try to run F2 command, sometims I get error message:

"No such file or directory (2)"
It's a simple command, make file executable
chmod a+x,o+x %f
When I exited MC and entered again, it worked OK.
What I am doing wrong?
1) You are running an old version.
2) You didn't report the version.
Version 4.6.0 gives a better explanation of the error.
