Hello!

Is there in mc a key-sequence for "cd .."? (like backspace in
windows-explorer)


Ctrl-PageUp should do it, but it works only on some terminals (Linux
console, terminals for X11).

With "Lynx-like motion" enabled in Options->Configuration, you can use
Left Arrow, but only if the command line is empty.

And how can I move around quickly?


Ctrl-\ shows directory hotlist.  Alt-h invokes directory history.
