You should stay clear of Transifex. It is wholly proprietary
now. You can't even start a project without dishing out dough.
Look at https://www.transifex.com/, at the bottom it says:
"What are you waiting for? Sign up for your 30-day free trial now."

I am aware that this may not pertain to projects started before
2013 (when Transifex became all proprietary), but why support a
project that now abides by a philosophy alien to that of the
Free Software community?
At one time I argued that Midnight Commander should use the
Free Translation Project at http://translationproject.org. It
fell on deaf ears at the time, but let me reiterate that it is
very easy to use - just send the new or updated pot-file to the
project and translations teams all around the world are
autmatically notified via their mailing lists. Team translators
send the new or updated translation to the Translation
Project's robot and the robot sends out a message to the
maintainer that the translation is ready.
