I can't imagine Linux without mc. If Linux From Scratch was the only
distro with support for mc, i'd be a LFS user right now. :D

Boy, without mc i'd have to manually type commands like
"rm -rf */* *" as root user in the morning during a hangover..

I've tried so many file managers, but mc's interconnection with the
parent shell simply cannot be outmatched. Using "%s" "%D" etc. in
shell commands has become second nature to me. Power made easy.
