Suggestion of content for the annual report

Hi !

I've taken a look to previous annual reports in order to get an idea what could
be the 2011 issue :-)

This is my suggestion:

Cover

ToC

Foreword
with a Letter from the Executive Director (This should be done by Karen, I guess :-)

GNOME in 2011
Well, this year we've released GNOME 3 :-) (it seems it was a long time ago to me).
IMHO, we can address GNOME 3.0 and 3.2 with this:

      1) A review of GNOME 3 user experience [designer]

       2) A review of the new platform  [developer]
               - streamlined platform
               - easier bindings with introspection

      3) How the GNOME 3 series will evolve   [release team]
               - the new "feature" development approach can be explained
               - the new modules structure

       4) Small reports from the teams not covered by the previous sections (documentation,
            sysadmin, marketing, web, a11y...  )

       5)  We can add figures of the project this year (number of commits, reports, patches, reviews,
status of the translations, top committers, etc) [bugtrack team]

       6) Words about GNOME in 2011
We can add  a quotations page praising GNOME 3 (and maybe a couple of not so favourable
ones like Linus Torvalds' words ) with a nice design

   International Events
GNOME Asia, Berlin Desktop Summit, Montreal Summit can be addressed here.
And this year has been a lot of hackfests too.
Maybe GNOME attendance to other FLOSS events like FOSDEM.

   GNOME User Groups
We had successful 3.0 parties and we have beautiful pics from the pics contest, and there
has been another local GNOME gathering around the world.

   GNOME and Students
We have a good GSoC (27 participants with a good participation of women)
      and OPW (16 participants)

   Interview
Sometimes we add an interview in the annual report

GNOME Advisory Board

GNOME Foundation

   Board elections

   GNOME Foundation Finances

   Membership status

List of donors (Maybe could be nice a "text as art" presentation :-)
