Re: wgo footer designs

Nice footers! In terms of L&F I think I prefer the lighter mockup #7 -
http://people.redhat.com/duffy/gnome-brand/wgo/footers/wgo_footer.7.png

About the elements of the footer, the last we discussed is reflected
at http://live.gnome.org/GnomeWeb/ComponentSelection :

- Large Footer in the home: GNOME Logo, Copyright, "Hosted by RedHat",
Last Edit Date, "Edit this Page" link with small icon, License,
Sitemap | Contact | Legal | RSS Feeds.

- Small Footer in secondary pages: GNOME Logo, Copyright, Last Edit
Date, "Edit this Page" link with small icon, License, Sitemap |
Contact | Legal | RSS Feeds.

Now I would take out the GNOME logo in all footers since we have
already lots in the header. Now we know that in the home doesn't make
sense to have "Last Edit Date, "Edit this Page" link with small icon".

Definitely no validation tags. Letś just make the web validate the standards.

In principle I don't think we should specify the CMS engine
publically. People caring about this go to the source page, we can
provide this information as metadata there. This is what I thought at
the beginning. Now that we have seen the collaboration we are getting
from the Plone guys perhaps it would make sense to make a mention in
the home. Not in secondary pages. Ramon & co, what do you
think/expect?
