Hi,

I have written a library (written in Vala) that parses the KML
documents (and also GPX) into GObject structure which I used in
Emerillon plugin (which works on top of libchamplain), that could draw
some simple KML features. It is not fully implemented but if someone
wants to play with it the source is available at
"http://gitorious.org/libgeoformats";. Emerillon plugin places is the
one using KML -
"http://gitorious.org/~quikee/emerillion/quikees-emerillon-plugins";.
