After a brief email exchange, Colin and I tentatively agreed that it
probably didn't gain us much to split up the doc by chapter, and CVS
should be able to handle multiple people working on different bits of
the same file anyway.  

So for now, could you make any updates/additions to the document
directly to hig_draft1.sgml in CVS, please, and these will be
automatically included in the online HTML version when you commit them.
