Did you restart nautilus?

Attached is a patch to fix a few more of the problems I found (including
fixing the build, huh).

You don't have to maintain the whole of gvfs. Only a few people care
about the obexftp backend (which I maintain), or the FTP backend (which
Benjamin maintains), etc

Ask for a GNOME account after the backend gets committed, and you can
start pushing fixes through bugzilla/people with commit rights in the
meanwhile.
