Opening registration is a big mile-stone for us. Monitoring the number
of registrants will help us plan the venue, catering and all those other
necessities that depend on the number of visitors. We hope many will choose
for one of the registration types that involve a financial transaction,
because the revenue will help us get more contributors to the conference who
would otherwise not make it for financial reasons.

Is that something you can use? In a bit of a release-rush so not a lot of
inspiration, quote-wise :(
