Ah, OK. Do you have an idea in mind for how we can fix those two issues quickly?
We could change the title of the main page to "GUADEC -- 28th July to
2nd August 2017" so the dates are obvious, and modify the "Talks" bit
to list the CfP deadline. We could do those quickly.

Then I think we'd be ready to send a proper announcement to
foundation-announce gnome org and the rest of the places I've listed
in <https://live.gnome.org/GUADEC/2017/Announce>. I am itching to get
the actual announcement done, it feel like we're getting quite behind
on this.  Then we can take time over actually finalizing the design of
the site.
