People from China is asking for invitation letter to attend GUADEC, it usually take weeks to get visa to European.

Who is helping on the GUADEC visa letter ?

The invitation letter situation was a big mess last year and resulted
in https://wiki.gnome.org/Travel/Invitations

I suggest that someone on the local team is nominated to be an
invitation letter coordinator. The letter will either need to be
signed by the Foundation president or by one of the local team
members. Whoever is nominated will need to liaise between the board,
local team and, when needed, the Travel Committee.
