Hi;
Last year we had around 60 slots for talks, keynotes, lightning talks, and the AGM in the core days, spread over three rooms. I think this number is too high. If we keep the large auditorium for keynotes only, and we have 4 core days, I think we can get away with a single keynote per day, and follow this layout:09:30 - 10:30 Keynote10:30 - 11:00 Break11:00 - 11:45 Talk11:45 - 12:30 Talk12:30 - 13:30 Lunch13:30 - 14:15 Talk14:15 - 15:00 Talk15:00 - 15:30 Break15:30 - 16:15 Talk16:15 - 17:00 TalkWith two rooms over 4 days this gives us 48 slots. The AGM will take 2 slots and a break, and so will the lightning talks. This gives us approximately 44 slots for regular talks, which is close to the amount of talks we had last year. We can rearrange the layout to start earlier and have a longer lunch break as well.So I guess these are the numbers I have in my head, don't know what you guys think. BTW, this also means we need to find four keynote speakers. :-)Ciao,Emmanuele.—
