Let me start by saying that Czech in general is incredibly children friendly, my wife and I have a 9 Month old daughter and we have so far not found any restaurant which doesn't have at least 1 baby chair available, and a lot of them even have a special childrens play area. Also in terms of public transport you can buy a special parent ticket for 30 Czech crowns, which is about 1 GBP, which allows you unlimited transport with the child until age 3.
In terms of breastfeeding I don't know if there are any laws especially protecting breastfeeding, but women do breastfeed everywhere here and nobody has ever made a fuss about my wife breastfeeding anywhere. So while I do realize not everyone is comfortable breastfeeding 'where ever and whenever' at least know that it is not a problem here in Czech.
So at least the general framework for making the conference baby friendly should be in place and I will bring it up with relevant parties that having a parenting room at the venue would be good and hopefully we can find something suitable. I mean just a room where one could sit down to feed or pump should be simple enough, but since we ideally would like to have water and a drain there for the nappy changing station too, that part might be harder to easily accommodate at the University venue.
