Should I count Bastien's feedback as an objection? He seems to think 
that it's irrelevant for the GNOME community.

re co-ordinating: I think that the local team might want to have some 
say in it (and I know that they have been planning for a few weeks now), 
and I don't think I would be able to do it justice. Happy to invite 
anyone I have in the address book, or try to get in contact with Famous 
People you might like to invite, but don't really want to plan & 
organise it this year.
