I understand your point.  However, people who gets accommodation
sponsorship understand they will go to the cheapest place found by the
organizers. That is the way it was managed in Birmingham, Vilanova,
Sttutgart and Kristiansand.  I'm not sure about Seville (IIRC).

And, it is not unrealistic from an organizer point of view, because that
costs are under their control.  The more costs you can control as
organizer, the better, because you can manage your budget.

If some (sponsored and confirmed) people knows where they will to stay,
I *believe* it is just a matter of time.

My reply to Sara was more a "call for calm" than anything else.

Good recommendation, especially for people who didn't receive any
confirmation.  I'll try to call as soon as possible, but if a payment is
required for booking, I guess give a bit more time to Baris would be
better :-)
