It should be pointed out that all the accommodation on the guadec.org
website is within 20-30 mins walking distance of the conference venue.
Moreover, the "conference quarter" of Birmingham is stacked with pubs
and restaurants which extend into Birmingham city centre itself (5 mins
walk).  I, along with various others, have been very impressed with the
conference facilities and the location.

I should have blogged about this...but hey...life is short :)
