Thanks Sara. After reviewing all the stuff it is good to see that it is mostly done (although Behnam seems to have a lot of work to do still, maybe you need some help this weekend? We can't afford a delay on Monday). Some comments about content linked from http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent - http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/Dict keeps being as long as it was. Are we going to publish all that or a short version as suggested days ago. Well, as far as it doesn't exceed the 2 pages planned... - http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/Party , this information will be spread in the information of session each day, isn't it? The map and pictures of the Fluendo party don't need to go to the printed program, having them available in the website should be enough. Well, maybe the map is negotiable if Behnam need to fill space, but the pictures definitely not. - http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/ProfList seems 100% completed. As said previously, we can forget about Banex and now it's too late to receive any information anyways. The entries look like well sorted. - The schedule pages say that editing is not required. Well, in fact these pages need to be at least reviewed in guadec.org because the titles of the session might contain misspellings that could go directly to the printed program. - http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/WUW-GUA-Abst was edited on 2006-06-04 but there have been changes in the sessions since then. - http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/WUW-ESCA-Abst someone needs to edit these texts in Catalan / Spanish. By default the coordinators of ES & CA. - Minor languages... since the only information available is the related to the session "I18n for Everybody: Graphite, KMFL and Smart Fonts to Extend GNOME (by Daniel Glassey, Nicolas Spalinger)", let's just list the session and speakers infor with the rest of WUW sessions and speakers, and forget about providing details about the Minor languages forum (a pity, certainly, but anyway). - Two keynoters still missing. Kathy Sierra, we can make something with http://today.java.net/pub/au/132 and http://headrush.typepad.com/about.html - picture I just found http://www.julieleung.com/IMG_3726.JPG - maybe more at Google images. Antonio José Saenz, I called him yesterday and he promised to deliver. I'll call him again tomorrow morning and if he doesn't deliver during Friday then we leave it like that, His keynote is joint with gnuLinEx,. so at least there is some information. - About the keynoters interviews, let's wait until the end of Friday and then proceed with the content we have got. - AHW, there won't be any description of BoF time sessions or speakers, all this will be available online. Some more details from http://live.gnome.org/GUADEC2006/PrintedContent/Design - Page 5 says "GUADEC History (logos and names of previous years?)" but it seems not to be in Sara's list. If we don't have the text we can just drop that page. - There are still 2 ads in same page, this can't happen. Nor can happen to have several pages with ads only, they need to be mixed with content, otherwise looks odd (or like a Fasihon magazine). Most ads look very good, we can be proud of them. - "Index of individuals and groups" is in pages 79-81, after the bios this index is summarizing. Shouldn't be better to have this included in a general ToC at the beginning of the program? Between a Sudoku and a dictionary looks like lost. -- Quim Gil /// http://desdeamericaconamor.org | http://guadec.org
