I don't think anybody will be able to help you without you providing the
error message you are seeing.

It's true that gtkmm produces several warnings espcially with VS 2008. I
believe most of them are harmless and we can maybe just disable them
using the property sheets if they get too annoying, but I'll have to
double-check.
