So the answer to my question is NO. You can't use GTKmm in a desktop
application without approval while you can (ab)use C#/GTK# or
python/pygtk.
Is that the answer you got from the release team or is that a
'summary' of the responses that you got on this list? Because I've
been under the impression for a while now that gtkmm is acceptable in
desktop apps but nobody has yet proposed a gtkmm app. I hope that's
not the official response.
