Crash in Windows

Hello all,
Gtkmm-2.6.10 with Windows-XP Visual Studio 8.0 crashes consistently
with treeview.
The crash is happening at the function call
append_column_numeric(...)
I'm trying to reproduce this with a sample code.
Meanwhile,
If anybody faced this problem earlier, could you please let me know if
there's any fix available.
