Yes that's right, the 4 or 5 days is the amount of time it would take to make the $3000 be worth while. So it's 4 or 5 days difference. So if gtkmm took 30 days and Qt only 24, it would make Qt cheaper (assuming all other factors are equal).

That's I think it's much more (cost) relevant how expensive the development and maintenance of applications using gtkmm or qt is (at least in the long term).

I agree. I'm not sure whose side you're arguing here ;) but as I indicated in another thread, I do not have enough experience with both toolkits to give a valuable opinion on this.
