thanks for trying.
The output of bootstrap looks bad, but probably isn't. You're only
missing the tool 'gtkdocize', which should be available from your
distribution's repository. The package is probably called 'gtk-doc'.
Also make sure you have the development packages for GTK+ 3 installed.
Once you have everything together, re-run bootstrap, then
./configure
make
If everything works, you should find several example programs in the
directory 'examples.'
