This is not really related to your actual announcement, but still: The
bundle says:

  It is hoped that bindings for gnome-spell will be implemented in the
  future. In the meantime, if you wish to use this module, you must
  install it manually.

Gnome-spell is no library, so it cannot be bound directly.  It's a
Bonobo component that could be used from Perl if we had Bonobo bindings.
