is this true for the background of any window created with gtk2-perl or
just your particular app? e.g., does it happen on the background of
the stock browser in gtk-demo? (Gtk2/gtk-demo/main.pl, choose stock
browser from the list)
i can't think of anything we do to windows that would cause this. most
of the functions in the bindings just pass through to C.
Interesting.
Lots of the demos don't show the problem but the
stock item browser does and all the programs under
tree view do.
