gtk+ cvs HEAD now depends on cairo, and the next stable version will,

iirc, there are some fledgeling perl bindings for cairo in cairo's cvs
(written by someone we know :-). will these be stable in time for us
to depend on them when gtk+ 2.8 comes out?
(i'm not sure at this point whether cairo is exposed from gtk+, but i
believe it is.)
If the *.symbols files are kept up-to-date[1], than these are the Cairo
related API additions:
gdk_cairo_set_source_color
gdk_drawable_create_cairo_context
gdk_pixbuf_set_as_cairo_source
And there's the stuff in pangocairo.h, of course.

Bye,

[1] I used `cvs diff -r gtk-2-6 -r HEAD gdk/gdk.symbols`.
