yeah, we'd need to state that the next rel's of things should add the -Ibuild.
and then at some point in the future after everyone has rel'd take it out of
Gtk2's EU::D. i guess that does raise the issue of people who have modules
that are out of our control, but they should at least be subscribed to this
list and if they take issue with it they should bring it up. beyond that this
obviously should be a 1.06x thing.

What about people that try to compile Gnome2 1.00 against Gtk2 1.06?  It
isn't all that likely, but not impossible either.

Thinking about it, I don't really see why inheriting "-I build" is a bad
thing.  We could just document that, if you depend on Gtk2, "-I build"
is automatically added for you and you don't need to care about it --
and thereby give it official blessing.  You can still add it manually
since, as muppet pointed out, EU::D takes care of merging duplicates.
