temporarily distributing it as a smaller package is a seperate issue from
putting it in cvs. i'm not even looking to send it out yet, it's probably not
even to that point. when it is then it could easily be pkg'd as wanted.

i just wanted to put it into cvs and i don't see the point of a separate cvs
repository where only i can get to it. doing so kinda blows the whole point of
other people being able to work on it. if it was in a private cvs repose at
the current rate of change i would be making sample releases everyday just so
people could look at it. this is exactly what cvs is for.
