they're gone in CVS, though you'll have to use 'cvs update -P' to prune the
empty directories.  silly cvs.  i look forward to the days when subversion is
much more popular.

wolfgang sourdeau had claimed the conch for debian packages from james curbo
last month and asked me to remove the debian dirs then (which i did); are you
taking over for him?
