Not necessarily. We, at gtkmm, are currently binding libpanelapplet, and
have successfully hidden the Bonobo stuff. There is one Bonobo enum value
that we need, but we just made our own enum in our API and mapped it to the
libbonobo enum in our implementation. If it helps, here is the code:
