Re: [gtk-osx-users] error with jhbuild gtksourceview

John,

Sorry for not posting to the list!! Also sorry to mention that I had rerun gtk-osx-build-setup.sh when, as you suggested, I had started from scratch. After running into a couple of problems like getting all the right docbooks XSL and XML entries in the catalog and making sure the build python could load libxml2 that I could resolve on my own I thought I had it until the gtksourcebuild failed.

Running gtk-osx-build-setup.sh yielded a git error

fatal: Couldn't find remote ref refs/tags/07b5a7d
Update of jhbuild fail

I don't mind going from scratch again as long as I'm sure I'm getting the right build files as it appears I may have  been working off an outdated files. Sorry for being such a pain.

Although I was trapped in dependency hell for a while I was able to get the following built but I don't see any gnome-common referenced in the gtk/inst/lib or gtk/source nor did I see it referenced in bootstrap.modules unless it is somehow called by autoconf or something else is there someplace in particular I should

jhbuild bootstrap
jhbuild build meta-gtk-osx-bootstrap
jhbuild build meta-gtk-osx-core

Is gnome-common installed? It's in bootstrap.modules, meaning that it should have gotten installed as part of  `jhbuild bootstrap`.

Please remember to copy the list on all replies: Use reply all (the double-arrow thingy).

Check ~/Source/jhbuild/modulesets/bootstrap.modules. If gnome-common isn't in there, run gtk-osx-build-setup.sh
to get the latest, then run jhbuild bootstrap again. I thought I'd told you to do that a month ago.
