gtk fonts promlem

we got window with boxes, but we are facing fonts problem, so anyone can help us.

the OS is fedora-7 and the processor is ARM on the board is . i find that
there is no pango.modules nor pango/  in /etc .also there are no .ttf files
formed while compilation of the libraries . could someone suggest me what
the problem is and what can be done .
